Not sure what inspired me today and tonight, other than the desire to work on a story from the Dream Seeker universe that has sat dormant for a long time … all I know is I made some headway in the Shadowfall saga, which tracks the aftermath of a massive super villain breakout of prison and how Miami’s lone super hero, Shadow Gentleman, is dealing with it.
I wrote three chapters/stories:
- Being Damiac-12
- Pigeon in Flight, Part I
- Pigeon in Flight, Part II
I get into the thoughts of Damiac-12, a genius who can think 100 moves ahead of you in life’s chess game.
Pigeon in Flight gets into the background of Sasha Nabatov, a.k.a. the Pigeon, showing brief scenes from his early days in the States, a young Russian youth trying to survive with no family or financial support. I end up fast-forwarding to the present, showing him carrying out an all-important mission for Damiac-12 — find the man with the Mets duffel bag and pickpocket the contents.
Anyway, I look forward to wrapping up this storyline soon, and eventually getting a Soul Patrol/Shadow Gentleman ebook together for you to read and enjoy.
