Two Dreams

Dace encountered the following dreams:

Last week of October

A man recalls being in a major metropolis, like New York, except next to a river. He was staying in a huge brick hotel, at least 20 stories tall, with fellow college students. He instinctively suspects that a young lad from Trinidad has a gun in his room, and is planning to shoot somebody.

Not wanting to see anyone get killed, the man organizes is friends and encourages them to go out that night, or to avoid certain floors of the hotel, or to go home early.

Madness ensues, involving rooftops, staircases, dark alleyways ... with the man one step ahead of the would-be gunman.


Novemember 6

Another man recalls carrying two Wal-Mart bags full of dirty laundry through an airport, along with a red bookbag and suitcase. His wife meets with him before he goes through security, and admonishes him to stuff the laundry in the red bookbag. The man shrugs his shoulders and informs his wife that he had carried some laundry like that before ... but inside, the man was glad, because he felt embarrassed carrying bags unto the plane.
